The Oxford shirt made its debut very early in Ralph Lauren’s designs, and since then, it has solidified its status as a pillar of the Polo look. Our fabric is developed with a secret wash, giving it instant character, ease and a heathered softness. The formula is so unique that it’s been kept in a safe for more than three decades. In addition to details evoking its prep-school inspiration, it offers a relaxed feel, producing what we refer to as the perfect "rumple". Today, Mr Lauren continues to create countless variations of his iconic shirt, including this gingham version, which is embroidered with our multicoloured signature Pony.

• Slim Fit: cut close to the body with fitted sleeves and higher armholes; 13.5 cm slimmer at the waist than our Standard Fit.
• Size medium has a 78.5 cm body length, a 46.5 cm shoulder, a 108 cm chest and an 87.5 cm sleeve length. Sleeve length is taken from the centre back of the neck and changes 0.5 cm between sizes.
• Button-down collar. Buttoned placket.
• Long sleeves with buttoned barrel cuffs.
• A split back yoke with a box pleat ensures a comfortable fit and a greater range of motion.
